Torimba Mardi Gras Day with Street Parade

The 2023 Mardi Gras Grand Parade with this year’s theme, “When I grow Up…” kicks off at 3.00pm.
A highlight of the Festival for young and old alike. The parade travels up and down Grigg St with all the Queens Entrants on their floats alongside local sporting and community clubs.

Locals and visitors alike celebrate and participate in old fashioned games and activities, all on the Main Street of Ravenshoe. And this year we have some exciting additions to the theme park end of town…with DODGEMS!!! Shane Knuth has already booked himself to take on Bob Katter…get amongst it!We are excited to have MELVILLE’s Animal Farm and DUCK RACES happening throughout the day – so much fun!

Plenty of food options amongst the street stalls from simple BBQ to the exotic. The excitement of the street parade fosters community spirit that unites the town and district.
