About the Festival

The Torimba Festival – Since 1969

The Torimba Festival is Ravenshoe’s premier annual community celebration, bringing together locals and visitors for two weeks of entertainment, connection and country hospitality each October.

From the iconic Mardi Gras Street Parade and spectacular fireworks to the Queen Entrant & Community Ambassador Program, Festival of the Forest, Miss & Master Torimba, live entertainment, sporting events and the Torimba Ball, the festival offers something for every age and interest.

Festival of the Forest

The Festival of the Forest is a competitive event with a wide variety of woodcraft, furniture, sculpture and more. This exhibition is highly regarded and entries are received from across Queensland and interstate.
