The Ravenshoe Timber Festival celebrates our photographers and always look forward to seeing the talented entries each year.
The Art Shed will be open daily during Torimba between 10am – 2pm.
Categories
All categories are open to digital photos/abstract.
Nature – e.g. Closeup, Wildlife, Pets
People – e.g. Portrait, Safe Selfies
Landscape – e.g. Aerial
Historical – e.g. Architecture
OPEN Class only – (Anyone can enter in this category)
Nominations
Entry form must be in by Thursday 3rd of October by 12pm.
Photo Delivery
Photos must be in by Friday 4th of October by 12pm.
Photos can be left at the Ravenshoe Visitors centre between 9am – 5pm daily or The Art Shed on Wednesdays, between 9am & 12pm
Conditions of Entry
- Please print your name & category clearly on back of exhibit.
- Category, Title, Name & Address is to be clearly written on entry form.
- Print Size: maximum 30cm x 20cm (12” x 8”), 25 x 20cm (10” x 8”) minimum 20cm x 20cm (8” x 8”)
- Photos may be cropped to this size for a better aspect.
- All entries must be provided on photographic paper – regardless of whether professional or amateur printing used.
- Photos can be printed at Kingfisher Art & Framing on a high quality printer.
- Mounting size: all entries to be suitably mounted on cardboard backing larger than the print; at least 2.5cm, but no more than 5cm each side.
- Backing Board available at Kingfisher Art & Framing $5.
Mats to be in Black or White only – Use double sided tape to stop curling. - Presentation is important – Please note that the presentation of your photo may enhance your chance of winning.
- Maximum of 3 entries per category.
- All photographs to have been taken within twelve (12) months
- No exhibit will be offered for sale during the exhibit.
